RUMFORD – The following cases were closed recently in 11th District Court:

Christopher S. Abbott, 34, Canton, operating under the influence, unlawful use of a license, operating while license suspended or revoked and operating a vehicle without a license, on June 3, found guilty on first and second charges, fined $500, sentenced to 48 hours and license suspended 90 days on first charge; fined $200 on second charge; third and fourth charges dismissed; also charged with possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on June 3, offense committed on first charge, fined $350; second charge dismissed.

John W. Bassett, 21, Peru, hunting or possessing moose during closed season on Nov. 8 and unlawful possession of moose on Nov. 11, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $1,500.

Jordan L. Bennett, 19, Bethel, violating condition of release on March 19, found guilty, fined $200 and sentenced to 24 hours.

Raymond R. Berryment, 73, Rumford, operating under the influence on Aug. 20, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

Joseph Norman Bordeau, 41, Mexico, criminal mischief on Dec. 1, found guilty, sentenced to 180 days with all but 48 hours suspended, one year probation and ordered to pay $749.43 restitution.

Amanda L. Buotte, 19, Rumford, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Oct. 14, found guilty, fined $100.

Charles E. Cannon, 69, Bridgewater, Mass., night hunting and shooting from a motor vehicle or motorboat on Nov. 9, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $500 and ordered to pay $1,300 restitution.

Marcus Carter, 25, Wiscasset, operating while license suspended or revoked and operating after registration suspended on Nov. 5, both charges dismissed.

Candice Casey, 44, Rumford, keeping a dangerous dog on Aug. 28 and habitual chasing biting dog on Sept. 8, both charges dismissed.

Tasia M. Dayon, 23, Mexico, operating under the influence, with one prior, on April 15, 2005, found guilty, fined $500, license suspended 90 days and ordered to provide 50 hours community service.

Lacey B. Hackett, 24, Mexico, disorderly conduct on Oct. 29, filed with no cost.

Kermit R. Houghton III, 26, Carthage, operating under the influence, with one prior, on Aug. 28, found guilty, fined $700, sentenced to 12 days and license suspended 18 months.

Tyson M. Jasud, 21, Rumford, violating condition of release and furnishing liquor to a minor on March 4, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 48 hours on first charge; fined $200 on second charge.

Mary E. Lawson, 52, Peru, assault on Dec. 31, 2004 and operating under the influence on Sept. 27, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days; also charged with operating while license suspended or revoked on Jan. 27, found guilty, fined $600, sentenced to seven days and license suspended one year.

Elizabeth A. Nicols, 44, Rumford, keeping barking dogs on Nov. 3, offense committed, fined $50.

Alexander Ojeda, 25, Bethel, failure to visit traps in an organized town on Oct. 23 and Dec. 31, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 for each charge.

Harold Richard Powell, 64, Hanover, operating under the influence and driving to endanger on Oct. 28, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $1,000 and license suspended 30 days.

James F. Powers, 52, Rumford, assault on Nov. 20, filed with no cost.

Yaicha L. Provencher, 21, Mexico, operating after registration suspended on Oct. 15, found guilty, fined $100.

Joshua W. Reny, 21, Canton, passing a stopped school bus on Oct. 6, dismissed.

Lorin Richards, 33, Rumford, operating under the influence, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, and failing to make an oral or written accident report on Nov. 13, found guilty on first charge, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days; second and third charges dismissed.

Melissa Ryan, 26, Standish, failing to exhibit license and failing to timely register bear, deer, moose or turkey on Sept. 22, found guilty on both charges, fined $200 for each charge.

James A. Wilkinson, 37, Somersworth, N.H., attaching false plates on Nov. 2, found guilty, fined $100.

Leslie Woods, 52, Rumford, violation of a town ordinance on Nov. 13 and Nov. 18, both charges dismissed.
