2001 missing man remains found

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Human remains found near Interstate 93 last week are those of a 21-year-old man missing since July 2001, the Attorney General’s office said Monday.

New Hampshire Medical Examiner Thomas Andrew matched dental records to confirm the identity of Lorne Boulet of Chichester. Concord police also found clothing matching Boulet’s description when he was last seen on July 29, 2001.

A man walking in the woods near Interstate 93 on Friday found the body in an area where the homeless often camp.

The cause and time of death are still unknown. The skeletal remains will be taken to a forensic anthropologist in Maine for further analysis.
