EDGECOMB, Maine (AP) — Authorities in Maine say they’ve arrested four people believed to have been involved in heroin trafficking following a raid on an Edgecomb motel.
The busts this week, by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, led to the seizure of 170 bags of heroin, as well as quantities of marijuana and Subozone pills.
The Portland Press Herald reports that the four are being held at Two Bridges Jail, in Wiscasset.
Charged with unlawful trafficking in heroin are: 28-year-old Brian Swett and 25-year-old Jessica Hale, both of Boothbay Harbor, as well as 25-year-old Jeremy Buttigieg and 26-year-old Nicole Russell, both of New Milford, N.J.
