WEST PARIS — The Oxford Country 4-H Beef and Sheep Club needs help in providing 4-H youth development opportunities for young people. The 4-H club focuses on animal science while teaching the importance of learning responsibility, respect, life skills and leadership through a variety of hands-on livestock project choices.
A 4-H Take-A-Chance Auction has been planned for Friday, April 9, in the Agnes Gray School. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the auction will start at 6:30.
Members are asking businesses and individuals for donations or items. The donations are tax deductible as a donation to the Oxford County Cooperative Extension Association for the 4-H Youth Development Program.
All the money raised is used to support the kids by getting new equipment, T-shirts and trips.
