LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court:

Benjamin R. Small, 21, Turner, operating after registration suspended on March 25, found guilty, fined $100.

Justin J. Smart, 23, Farmingdale, habitual motor vehicle offender on May 29, sent to jury trial.

Bonnie S. Smith, 37, Roxbury, negotiating a worthless instrument on April 3, 2005, dismissed.

Timothy A. Smith, 39, Lewiston, assault and disorderly conduct on March 6, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $100.

Roosevelt Spearman Jr., 19, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Nov. 5, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Shawn E. Spencer, 35, Livermore Falls, unlawful use of license and operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on Sept. 19, found guilty on both charges, fined $50 on first charge; fined $500 on second charge.

Kristy L. Splude, 21, Lewiston, assault and violating condition of release on Oct. 21, both charges sent to jury trial.

Randy Splude, 39, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on Aug. 25, found guilty, fined $100.

Cherrie A. Spruill, 25, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and assault on July 31, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $300 on second charge.

Ashley Lynn St. Pierre, 21, Lisbon, criminal mischief on Aug. 22, found guilty, fined $75 and restitution of $205.

Christina Stanley, 39, Mechanic Falls, negotiating a worthless instrument on Feb. 24, dismissed.

Sean Stanton, 23, West Poland, operating while license suspended or revoked, and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 15, found guilty on first charge, fined $250; offense committed on second charge, fined $300.

Chuck R. Starbird, 57, Minot, operating under the influence on Aug. 13, sent to jury trial.

Vincent L. Steed, 25, Lewiston, assault and violating condition of release on Oct. 28 and violating condition of release on Nov. 1, all charges sent to jury trial.

Daniel T. Steege, 20, Standish, failing to make oral or written accident report on Aug. 13, found guilty, fined $100.

Ashley E. Stevens, 19, Lewiston, criminal trespass on Aug. 31, found guilty, sentenced to six hours.

Joshua A. Stewart, 20, Lewiston, possession of liquor by a minor on Sept. 7, offense committed, fined $200.

Alice M. Strout, 32, Mechanic Falls, operating after registration suspended and operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 19, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

Clifford Strout, 57, Yarmouth, operating under the influence on Aug. 12, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

Scott J. Strout, 21, Lewiston, probation violation on a Feb. 22 assault charge, sentenced to 200 days and probation partially revoked.

Ernest R. Suitter Sr., 59, Livermore Falls, burning without a permit on Sept. 22, found guilty, fined $50.

James E. Sullivan, 34, Peaks Island, operating under the influence on Sept. 1, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 96 hours and license suspended 90 days.

Devan M. Swan, 20, Lewiston, possession of liquor by a minor on Sept. 7, offense committed, fined $200.

Brandi L. Swenton, 20, Lewiston, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on July 3, offense committed on both charges, fined $350 on first charge; fined $300 on second charge.

Nathan Talbot, 24, Brunswick, operating after registration suspended on Aug. 27, found guilty, fined $100.

Karla Tessier, 34, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Nov. 25, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours.

David Theriault, 42, Lewiston, operating under the influence and operating after registration suspended on April 16, found guilty on first charge, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days; second charge dismissed.

Matthew Theriault, 22, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on July 29 and failing to stop, remain, render aid and/or personal injury on Aug. 5, found guilty on first charge, fined $200; second charge dismissed.

Brittany C. Therriault, 18, Greene, transportation of liquor by a minor on Sept. 8, offense committed, fined $100 and license suspended 30 days.

Elizabeth Thompson, 29, Monmouth, operating while license suspended or revoked on Sept. 2, found guilty, fined $500.

Eric R. Thompson, 21, Readfield, operating after registration suspended, with prior, on Sept. 25, found guilty, fined $100.

Janet Thompson, 45, South Portland, habitually truant student on May 22, offense committed, fined $100.

Matthew Thompson, 18, Wales, operating while license suspended or revoked and attaching false plates on Sept. 14, found guilty on both charges, fined $250 on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Jason M. Trahan, 30, Sabattus, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Oct. 6, fined $300 by default.

Benjamin Travers, 30, Richmond, operating while license suspended or revoked on April 28, found guilty, fined $250.

Claudine Tremblet, 36, Lewiston, removal of dog waste on July 27, dismissed.

Ricardo Trevino, 46, Lewiston, operating under the influence and operating while license suspended or revoked on June 10, found guilty on first charge, fined $700, sentenced to seven days, license suspended 18 months and registration suspended; second charge dismissed.

Jessica Tripp, 30, Lincoln, operating while license suspended or revoked on June 17, found guilty, fined $250.

Adam L. Turner, 23, Lewiston, escape on June 26, found guilty, fined $500.

Daniel R. Turner, 19, Turner, transportation of liquor by a minor on Oct. 7, offense committed, fined $100 and license suspended 30 days.

Adam S. Uldall, 25, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on June 25, found guilty, fined $500.

James Vadeboncoeur, 40, Mechanic Falls, assault and driving to endanger on Aug. 13, both charges sent to jury trial.

Rene Vallee, 39, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on Oct. 5, offense committed, fined $350.

Richard R. Vallee, 64, Minot, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident on Sept. 15, found guilty, fined $75.

Geneva C. Varney, 41, Turner, attaching false plates on July 17, filed with no cost.

Colon Albertito Velez, 33, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked, OUI, on March 10 and operating under the influence, with one prior, on June 17, found guilty on both charges, fined $600 and sentenced to seven days on first charge; fined $700, sentenced to seven days, license suspended 18 months and registration suspended on second charge.

Norman Verrill, 43, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Nov. 2, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours.

Buddy J. Wachter, 23, Hazel Green, Ala., operating a vehicle without a license on April 19, found guilty, fined $150.

Marc C. Walton, 29, Lewiston, assault on July 15, filed with no cost.

Casey R. Ward, 34, Alderport, Calif., operating a vehicle without a license and operating under the influence on Aug. 26, both charges sent to jury trial.

Cecilia A. Ward, 23, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 30, found guilty, fined $250.

Michael D. Webber, 24, New Portland, violating condition of release on Nov. 1, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours.

Michael K. Webster, 18, Lewiston, criminal trespass on June 5, found guilty, fined $75.

Merton E. Weed Jr., 34, Auburn, criminal threatening on Oct. 20, dismissed.

Dexter Weston, 37, Lewiston, violating condition of release and violating a protective order on Nov. 13, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to four days for each charge.

Donna M. White, 37, Weld, negotiating a worthless instrument on Oct. 18, 2005, dismissed.
