LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court:

Melinda N. Jarvis, 20, Auburn, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Jan. 27, found guilty, fined $100.

Paul Allen Jenkins, 24, Lewiston, violating condition of release on March 20, found guilty, sentenced to seven days at the county jail.

Frank T. Johanson, 19, Auburn, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Nov. 12, found guilty, fined $100.

Alan Johnson, 43, Lewiston, three counts of furnishing liquor to a minor on March 17, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to four days at the county jail for each charge.

Derek J. Johnson, 22, Lewiston, operating after registration suspended on Jan. 20, found guilty, fined $100.

Jason A. Johnson, 32, Auburn, operating under the influence on Feb. 22, sent to jury trial.

Latrice T. Johnson, 33, Lewiston, operating under the influence on March 18, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to two days at the county jail and license suspended 90 days.

Jeremiah Jones, 28, Lewiston, criminal threatening, criminal mischief, assault, and obstructing the report of a crime on Dec. 22, found guilty on first and second charges, sentenced to 180 days at the county jail with all suspended and one year probation on first charge; sentenced to five days at the county jail on second charge; third and fourth charges dismissed.

Vaughn M. Jones, 55, Durham, operating under the influence on Nov. 5, found guilty, fined $600 and license suspended 90 days.

Brandi E. Kalloch, 22, Freeport, operating while license suspended or revoked on Jan. 14, found guilty, fined $250.

Breanne N. Kaufman, 18, Turner, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Feb. 16, sent to jury trial.

Heather A. Keniston, 31, Norway, operating under the influence, with one prior, on Jan. 14, found guilty, fined $700, sentenced to seven days at the county jail, license suspended 18 months and registration suspended.

Carl J. Kiefer, 27, Lewiston, attaching false plates on Jan. 16, found guilty, fined $100.

Erica Kilde, 26, Richmond, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Jan. 23, found guilty, fined $100.

Jennifer L. King, 36, Lewiston, failure to register a vehicle on Jan. 26, found guilty, fined $100.

Nathan Kinney, 20, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on March 20, found guilty, fined $200.

Sean F. Knight, 23, Durham, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct on Dec. 9, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 24 hours at the county jail for each charge; also charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 16, fined $300 by default.

Scott Kramarz, 33, Lewiston, assault on Jan. 6, dismissed.

Nathan R. Kurowski, 31, Swansea, Mass., attaching false plates on Dec. 8, dismissed.

Matthew F. Kyllonen, 24, Mechanic Falls, operating under the influence, with one prior, violating condition of release, and failing to stop for an officer on Feb. 10, all charges sent to jury trial.

Michael O. Labrecque, 41, Monmouth, negotiating a worthless instrument on July 19, 2004, found guilty, fined $75.

Ann Lachance, 41, Auburn, operating after registration suspended on June 1, 2005, found guilty, fined $100.

Jeffrey Laflam, 28, Poland, assault on Jan. 22, found guilty, fined $300, sentenced to 120 days at the county jail with all suspended and one year probation; also charged with violating condition of release on March 25, dismissed.

David Michael Lagasse, 22, Lewiston, criminal threatening on July 15, found guilty, sentenced to 364 days at the county jail with all suspended and one year probation; also charged with violating a protective order on March 4, dismissed.

Michael J. Lagasse, 36, Lewiston, assault on March 16, found guilty, fined $300 and sentenced to 50 days at the county jail.

Sean Michael Lahey, 40, Auburn, operating under the influence, with one prior, on Dec. 12, sent to jury trial.

Barbara A. Laliberte, 29, Monmouth, operating after registration suspended on Dec. 10, dismissed.

Andrew Lane, 34, Litchfield, operating while license suspended or revoked on Sept. 14 and Dec. 6, found guilty on both charges, fined $600 for each charge.

Chad Robert Lapierre, 23, Lisbon, operating under the influence, with two priors, and operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 17, found guilty on first charge, fined $1,100, sentenced to 120 days at the county jail with all but 30 days suspended, one year probation, license suspended four years, and registration suspended; second charges dismissed.

Neil R. Laverriere, 24, Biddeford, operating after registration suspended on July 22, found guilty, fined $100.

Scot T. Lavoie, 21, Lisbon, operating after registration suspended on Jan. 21, found guilty, fined $100.

Terry L. Lavoie, 20, Lewiston, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 7, offense committed, fined $300.

Glenn Lawson, 43, Lewiston, probation violation on the July 13 terrorizing and Aug. 8 assault charges, sentenced to 149 days at the county jail and probation revoked.

Derek S. Leavitt, 25, Lewiston, operating without a license on May 30, found guilty, fined $100.

Leroy A. Leavitt, 21, Manchester, violating condition of release on March 17, found guilty, sentenced to two days at the county jail.

Richard Leet, 45, Lewiston, violation of a protective order from harassment on Feb. 6, found guilty, sentenced to four days at the county jail.

Maurice Lemay, 45, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked, operating a vehicle without a license and unlawful use of a license on Nov. 17, found guilty on first charge, fined $250; second and third charges dismissed; also charged with operating under the influence, with on prior, on Nov. 18, found guilty, fined $900, sentenced to 20 days at the county jail, license suspended 18 months and registration suspended; and violating condition of release on Feb. 16, dismissed.

Everett T. Leonard, 27, Turner, unlawful gift of deer, hunting deer after having killed one, and exceeding bag limit on deer on Nov. 23, first and second charges dismissed; found guilty on third charge, fined $1,200 and sentenced to four days at the county jail.

Laurel F. Leonard, 51, Turner, false registration of deer and unsworn falsification on Nov. 23, found guilty on first charge, fined $100; second charge dismissed.
