LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court:

Jolene R. Grubb, 29, Topsham, operating after registration suspended on Jan. 15, found guilty, fined $100.

Ahmed Guled, 71, Lewiston, displaying a fictitious vehicle certificate on Dec. 23, found guilty, fined $75.

Alex Hager, 20, Warwick, R.I., possession of liquor by a minor on Jan. 21, fined $200 by default.

Kevin J. Hakala, 29, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Oct. 1, dismissed.

Nicholas Hall, 18, Lewiston, possession of marijuana, and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 4, offense committed on both charges, fined $350 on first charge; fined $300 on second charge.

Steven W. Hall, 49, Lewiston, operating under the influence on Dec. 4, transferred to Superior Court.

Thomas M. Hamilton, 23, Auburn, probation violation on a Feb. 5, 2005 operating under the influence with one prior charge, sentenced to seven days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

Rashaun D. Hampton, 30, Auburn, fugitive from justice on March 20, extradition waived.

Luke Hanscom, 28, Greene, operating while license suspended or revoked on May 25, found guilty, fined $500.

Jacob Hardy, 20, Lewiston, indecent conduct on Jan. 13, found guilty, fined $75.

Jonathan Hare, 22, Buckfield, assault and disorderly conduct on March 23, found guilty on first charge, fined $300 and sentenced to two days at the county jail; second charge dismissed.

Gary Hargraves, 35, Bangor, fugitive from justice on March 15, dismissed.

Miles Hartford, 25, Auburn, violation of a protective order on March 3, found guilty, sentenced to three days at the county jail.

Emen Hassan III, 26, Middletown, Conn., operating after license suspension on Sept. 14, found guilty, fined $250.

Steven P. Haycock, 23, Raymond, operating a vehicle without a license on Dec. 22, found guilty, fined $100.

John Hayes, 35, Lewiston, harassment by telephone on Jan. 21, creating a false public alarm or report on Jan. 22, and violating a protective order on March 9, found guilty on all charges, fined $50 on first charge; sentenced to 15 days at the county jail on second charge; sentenced to 24 hours at the county jail on third charge.

Ryan S. Henson, 30, Lewiston, assault on June 1, 2004, and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident on May 2, 2005, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 60 days at the county jail on first charge; sentenced to 10 days at the county jail on second charge.

Ruby Hernandez, 20, Falmouth, assault on Dec. 20, found guilty, fined $300.

Michael L. Hersey, 22, Lewiston, operating after registration suspended on Nov. 12, dismissed.

Gary David Hesketh II, 24, Greene, probation violation on a April 29 assault charge, sentenced to 90 days at the county jail and probation partially revoked.

Gary David Hesketh II, 24, Mechanic Falls, criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Jan. 20, found guilty, sentenced to 90 days at the county jail and ordered to pay $250 restitution.

Albert F. Hewins III, 21, Leeds, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 23, fined $300 by default.

Marion E. Hicks, 55, Livermore Falls, operating after registration suspended on Aug. 3, dismissed.

Nathan M. Hinckley, 19, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on Feb. 21, offense committed, fined $350.

Stephen J. Hiscock, 19, Auburn, operating a vehicle without a license on Nov. 28 and reckless conduct on Feb. 3, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $200 on second charge.

Brett S. Hodgdon, 33, Greene, disorderly conduct on Jan. 15, found guilty, fined $75.

Katherine Holt, 20, Lewiston, theft of services on Nov. 27 and obstructing government administration on Dec. 27, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 and ordered to pay $20.30 restitution on first charge; fined $100 on second charge; also charged with disorderly conduct and violating condition of release on March 1, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to 24 hours at the county jail; second charge dismissed; and violating condition of release and allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on March 8, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to five days at the county jail for each charge.

Christa M. Horton, 35, Litchfield, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on April 9, found guilty, fined $300.

Elmer Joseph Howard, 39, Lewiston, failure to comply sex offender registration act, first offense, on Jan. 20, found guilty, fined $500.

Rebecca Howard, 25, Durham, operating after registration suspended on Jan. 13, found guilty, fined $100.

Edwin L. Howes, 43, Livermore, operating after registration suspended on Oct. 16, found guilty, fined $100.

Edwin L. Howes, 43, Lisbon Falls, operating without proof of financial responsibility on Feb. 3, found guilty, fined $250.

Joseph S. Hoyt, 26, Lewiston, probation violation on a Feb. 18, 2005 terrorizing charge, sentenced to 72 hours at the county jail and probation partially revoked.

Nancy J. Hoyt, 54, Gray, operating a vehicle without a license and attaching false plates on Nov. 27, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $75 on second charge.

James M. Hudson, 59, Lewiston, operating under the influence, with one prior on Sept. 3, sent to jury trial.

Sean M. Hutchins, 20, Mechanic Falls, carrying a concealed weapon and refusing to submit to arrest or detention and possession of liquor by a minor on Jan. 21, found guilty on first and second charges, fined $300 on first charge; sentenced to three days at the county jail on second charge; third charge dismissed.

Jane Jack, 52, Bowdoin, acquiring drugs by deception, forgery and theft by deception on March 9, 2004, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to 180 days at the county jail with all suspended and one year probation on first and second charges; sentenced to 180 days at the county jail with all suspended and six months probation on third charge; also charged with acquiring drugs by deception on Jan. 10, 2003, found guilty, fined $400, sentenced to 180 days at the county jail with all but 10 days suspended and one year probation; and acquiring drugs by deception on Jan. 20, 2003, Feb. 17, 2003, March 3, 2003, April 16, 2003, April 19, 2003 and April 27, 2003, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to 180 days at the county jail with all but 10 days suspended and one year probation for each charge.
