LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court.

Robert E. Chavira, 29, Waterford, operating while license suspended or revoked on Jan. 6, found guilty, fined $250; also charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release on May 21, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 48 hours for each charge.

Perley Conrad Childs III, 42, Auburn, operating after registration suspended on April 8, found guilty, fined $150.

Timothy C. Chute, 45, Lewiston, violating condition of release on March 7, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours.

Josey Cooper, 29, Auburn, refusing to sign criminal summons and violating condition of release on Feb. 4, both charges dismissed.

Tanya L. Corliss, 39, Lisbon, keeping an unlicensed dog on March 10, offense committed, fined $50.

Angie Cornish, 30, Greene, violating condition of release on Dec. 5, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours with all suspended.

Robert E. Cote, 51, Lewiston, operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license on Oct. 4, found guilty on first charge, fined $700, sentenced to 120 days with all but seven days suspended, one year probation, license suspended 18 months and registration suspended; second charge dismissed.
