PARIS - An assault charge against Seth Carey, the Rumford lawyer backing a pending statewide referendum on a private casino in Oxford County, has been dropped.
Man charged with assault after beating at VFW
RUMFORD - A Rumford man whom police say beat a man unconscious during an attack on Cumberland Street this week will be arraigned in July in Paris on the felony assault charge. Alcohol was a factor with both men, police said.
Former school secretary pleads guilty to theft
