SALEM TOWNSHIP — SAD 58 Adult and Community Education will offer a five-week course in Photoshop/Digital Editing from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, May 19 to June 16, at Mt. Abram High School, in the library.
Cost of the course is $60 each student (payable to SAD 58 Adult Education prior to start) and the instructor is Lori Littlefield.
The course will cover an introduction to Photoshop, including how to use basic tools, layers and history; how to use the scanning, patch, healing and stamp tools (to repair older photographs); and how to make photo corrections with automatic and manual adjustments.
Students will learn to use filters to enhance photographs as art and during week five, the focus will be on a student choice project.
Students of any age are recommended to attend with their own laptops, with Photoshop installed. Class space is limited and those interested will be registered on a first come-first serve basis.
