Fathers Caring for Infants: If you are expecting a baby or if you are currently caring for an infant (0-6 months) this session is for you.
It will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9. Fee is $20. Pre-registration and payment are required.
Bring your baby and share your experience with other fathers. Discussion topics will include the importance of the father’s role to a child’s healthy development, the basics of infant care, fun and effective ways to play and communicate with your baby and changes to expect in your relationship with your partner as your baby develops.
My Developing Toddler: Parents and caregivers are invited to join Amy at the Auburn Public Library from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, to share observations, questions and strategies for successfully parenting young children as they transition from infancy through “toddlerhood” into a preschooler.
This session is open to the public and donations are graciously accepted.
Peaceful Parenting Young Children (1234 Parents): Is it possible to be a peaceful parent when raising young children (0-5 years)? Join the discussion on Oct. 22, 29 and Nov. 5 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Trade effective strategies and resources and learn ways to manage appropriate expectations and productive routines.
Family fun: Parents and Caregivers with children 0-5 years are invited to join interactive playgroup sessions on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Healthy snacks are provided and donations are gratefully accepted.
Parent Support Group: The group is open to any parent or caregiver who is responsible for children. Come to share questions and thoughts with others, and gain information and resources. The Parent Support Group is held on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. Child care is provided for children up to age 5. A donation of $5 per family is suggested.
