AUBURN — Advocates for Children is seeking nominations for its annual community service award to honor one deserving individual for his/her contributions to the prevention of child maltreatment.
Nominees may demonstrate their commitment to children through either their professional employment or through their volunteer efforts. Last year’s recipient was Carole Wise from Edward Little High School in Auburn.
Those who know someone who works with children in the fields of education, treatment, prevention or other who has demonstrated a commitment to addressing child maltreatment in Androscoggin County should contact Advocates for Children at 783-3990 for a nomination form or visit www.advocatesforchildren.net. The deadline for nominations is May 28.
