Albert ‘Penny’ Pendexter
TAUNTON, Mass. — Albert “Penny” Pendexter, 81, of Taunton, Mass., formerly of Weymouth, Mass., and Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, March 6, at the Morton Hospital.
Penny was born, raised and educated in Pittsfield, lived in Weymouth, Mass., for many years and most recently in Taunton, Mass. He was a retired master electrician and U.S. Navy veteran, serving in both World War II and Korean War. He was a plank owner of the USS Des Moines.
He was the beloved husband of the late Muriel (Gauthier) Pendexter; the loving father of Sandy Sullivan and her husband, Paul, of Weymouth, Mass., Randy Pendexter and his wife, Debra, of Taunton, Danny Pendexter and his wife, Janet, of Bridgewater and Lee Pendexter and his wife, Celina, of Taunton; devoted grandfather of Aldo Spada, Cherie Snyder and David, Janine, Jonathon and Lee Pendexter; and great-grandfather of Carly Spada, Gianna Spada and Jackson Snyder.
