FARMINGTON – Funeral services for Alta P. Bridgwood were held Tuesday morning at the Fairbanks Union Presbyterian Church, Farmington, with the Rev. C. Scott Planting officiating. Her son, Richard, and daughter, Janet Bagnulo, as well as other family members, gave personal tributes during the time of remembrance.
The pianist was Dr. Douglas Walrath. Congregational hymns included “Spirit,” “In The Garden” and “I Sing a Song of the Saints of God.” Her son-in-law, John Bagnulo, sang “I Believe.” The Prayer of St. Francis was recited by the congregation and Psalm 23 (KJV) was a unison reading. Following services, a reception was held in the vestry, hosted by the Deacons. Later in the afternoon committal services were held at Fairview Cemetery, Farmington. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington.
