Andre A. Vallee


AUBURN – Andre A. Vallee, 61, of 310 Ferry Road, Lewiston, died Tuesday, July 3, at the Hospice House, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Lewiston on Dec. 13, 1945, the son of Henri and Marie Paquette Vallee. Educated in local schools, he was a graduate of St. Dominic High School, Class of 1965.

After his graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. After his service, he was employed in the construction industry, working his way up from laborer to carpenter and supervisor.

On Dec. 28, 1974, he was married to the former Bernadette Bell at St. John Vianney Church in Orlando, Fla. A member of Holy Cross Parish and the American Legion, Post 153, Andy was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and archery.

Survivors include his loving wife of Lewiston; a stepson, Chad Warner of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Daniel, and wife, Rose, of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
