Anita M. Couillard


AUBURN – Anita M. Couillard, 65, of Scribner Boulevard, Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, June 30, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

She was born in Lewiston, July 30, 1941, the daughter of Ernest and Lelianne Simoneau Baril. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married June 22, 1963, to Eugenio Couillard. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 27 years at Maine Electronics. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish and enjoyed playing bingo and had been a bingo worker for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) for five years.

She is survived by her husband of Lewiston; two daughters, Annette Dupre, and husband, Michael, of Lisbon and Suzanne Marston, and husband, James, of Mechanic Falls; three grandchildren, Maegan, Courtney and Tanner; a sister, Jeannette Cloutier, and husband, Fern, of Lewiston; an uncle, Bob Simoneau, and wife, Rolande, of Lewiston; and her cat, Whiskers.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Her family wishes to thank Dr. Modaressi and staff in the Infusion Center at St. Mary’s Hospital and the staff at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, and the Hospice House.
