Anti-violence march in Farmington

Connor Greenleaf, 9, carries a message of peace — “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace,” —  during the 19th annual SAPARS Walk for Violence-Free Communities in Farmington on Monday. Marchers walked from Meetinghouse Park to Old South First Congregational Church for a speak-out during which people could share their thoughts on violence. Sponsored by Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services, the march marks April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
