Antoinette D. Berube


LEWISTON – Antoinette D. Berube, 83, of 63 Brigham St., Lewiston died Wednesday, April 19, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family after a short illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Aug. 3, 1922, the daughter of Theodule and Bernadette (Deblois) Brissette and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was married to Walter A. Berube on May 10, 1947. He died on Sept. 2, 1997.

She was employed as a sewer at Albarrie Tech in Lewiston until her retirement in 1984.

She enjoyed drawing and coloring. She was very family oriented, having enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gervais and her companion, Barry Sanborn, of Monmouth; six sons, Paul Berube and his wife, Diane, of Litchfield, Maurice Berube and his companion, Penny, of Lewiston, Thomas Berube and his wife, Pauline, of Monmouth, Ernest Berube of Litchfield, Laurier Berube and his wife, Michelle, of Wales and Ronald Berube and his wife, Laurie of Lewiston; one sister, Muriel Picard of Lewiston; one brother, Joseph Brissette and his wife, Irene, of Lisbon; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers; and one sister.
