Biddeford woman sentenced to 7 years for arson fires

ALFRED, Maine (AP) — A 58-year-old Biddeford woman has been sentenced to seven years in prison for setting fires to two apartment buildings she lived in.

Edna Godin was sentenced Thursday in York County Superior Court.

Godin pleaded guilty last summer to two counts of arson.

WMTW-TV says Godin admitted setting an apartment house on fire in May 2009 and another building on fire last December.
