Armand V. Beaudry


AUBURN – Armand V. Beaudry, 89, of the Odd Fellows Home of Maine, formerly of Riverside Drive, died Wednesday, May 3, at the Odd Fellows Home.

He was born in Woburn, P.Q., Canada, Feb. 24, 1917, the son of Joseph and Eugenie Rancourt Beaudry. He was self-employed as a lumberman and was a member of the Auburn Catholic community at St. Philip’s Church.

He was married Dec. 31, 1940, to Ernestine Hamel, who predeceased him Dec. 8, 1988. He enjoyed working with his horses and attending the various annual state fairs.

He is survived by five daughters, Helene Lallier and Annette Ridel and husband, William, all of Connecticut, Madeleine Bernaiche and husband, Morris, of Hiram, Colette Garlow and husband, E.J., of West Virginia and Louise Gagne and husband, Russell, of Florida; four sons, Maurice Beaudry and wife, Patricia, of Lewiston, Fern Beaudry and wife, Claire, of Connecticut, Rene Beaudry and wife, Rita, and Denis Beaudry, all of Auburn; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Hawley of Auburn.

He was predeceased by two daughters, Lise Beaudry and Rejeanne Moreau.
