Art students display work


LEWISTON – More than 350 guests attended the opening reception for the annual art exhibit of work by students of local art teacher Mercedes Gastonguay on July 13 at the Atrium Art Gallery, USM/Lewiston-Auburn.

The exhibition features work by 47 adults and children in media including oils, ink and pencil drawings, pastels, scratchboard and watercolor. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, continues through Aug. 17.
