Auburn clock tower gets a face-lift

Workers from Seacoast Scaffold & Equipment Corp. remove equipment from the clock tower of the Androscoggin County Building in Auburn on Tuesday afternoon. After repairing and replacing much of the exterior of the facade, the next phase of the nearly $300,000 project will deal with repairing the roof of the building, which was built in 1857.
