Auburn Library to host Halloween costume swap

AUBURN — Join the Auburn Public Library for a parent-and planet-friendly event. The library will host a Halloween costume swap from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at 49 Spring St.

Drop off your swap-able costumes by Oct. 17 at the Children’s Department. Costumes can be dropped off any time during business hours.

In exchange for each complete, clean, gently-worn costume, you will receive one swap ticket to claim a new-to-you costume at the Oct. 18 event.

No costume to swap? Still want to shop? Stop by the event on Oct. 18 after 2:30 p.m. and purchase any costume for a $5 donation.

Once costumes have been entered into the swap, they cannot be returned. The library cannot guarantee that parents will find a suitable costume for their child.
