Auburn looks to fill committee vacancies


AUBURN — The city is seeking residents with an interest in how the city operates.

City Clerk Sue Clements-Dallaire is accepting applications to fill various boards and committees at her office.

Auburn has vacancies on the Planning Board, the Water and Sewer districts and the groups that advise the City Council on the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport, cable TV, ethics, 911, loans and zoning.

Volunteers and people willing to serve must fill out an application and submit it to the City Clerk’s office. The form is available there and online via download at the city’s website,

Applications can be returned to the clerk’s office in Auburn Hall , 60 Court St. or sent via email to [email protected] Applications are due by March 12.
