Auburn woman writes ‘The Perfect Marriage’

Sherry Gripman of Auburn has written her first novel, “The Perfect Marriage,” about a young nurse who has some doubts about her finance, Griffin. He helped her out of a dark depression and delayed his education in Florida so she could finish college, but has been a little absent lately. She marries him, his attention wanes and she finds herself attracted to another man — forcing her to examine what she really wants in life.

Gripman received a degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine and now practices as a nurse.
