AUBURN — Dr. Leo Goldberger, Professor Emeritus of psychology and past director of the Research Center for Mental Health at N.Y.U., is an international expert in the field of stress and adaptation. He will be at the Auburn Public Library from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24.
The film “The Danish Solution,” narrated by Garrison Keillor, will be shown with reflections and a discussion to follow.
As a teen, Goldberger lived through the Nazi occupation and Danish rescue efforts. He also co-authored “Psychoanalysis and Contemporary Science,” “Handbook of Stress” and “Rescue of the Danish Jews: Courage Under Stress.”
The Library Café will have sandwiches, coffee and other beverages for purchase. Desserts will be free of charge.
The event to be held in the Androscoggin Community Room is free. The library is at 49 Spring St.
