Belly dancing lecture offered


AUBURN – The Androscoggin Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network is offering people a chance to learn basic movements of belly dancing and its connection to improving self-esteem and body image.

Laurie Babineau, owner of At The Center, will discuss the misconceptions of the dance and how this dance form has influenced the dance movements in the United States at the group’s networking luncheon on Wednesday, April 26 at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.

Registration and networking begins at 11:30 a.m., with the formal program beginning at noon.
