Benefit supper planned for Sunday

SOUTH PARIS — A benefit supper for Craig Bragdon Sr. will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at the Paris Fire Department, Western Avenue. Supper will be provided by the Paris Fire Department and the event will be sponsored by Bragdon’s family.

There will be a 50/50 drawing, raffle and homemade cards to purchase. One hundred percent of the donations will go for Bragdon’s doctors bills and funeral.

Bragdon has worked for many years making electronics for handicapped cars. He had been working up until a month ago, when he had such side and back pain that he could not walk.

After many doctor appointments, he found out that he had a tumor in his spine that could paralyze him at any time. He was rushed by ambulance to CMMC, where he found out he had cancer on his hip, spine and lung and possibly on his bones. The doctors gave him less than two months to live.

Donations may be made to Fire Fighter Cote at the Paris Fire Department or by calling Ashley Bragdon at 743-9676.
