Bernadette F. Bolduc


LEWISTON – Bernadette Florence Bolduc, 90, passed away on July 3, surrounded by her loving family at Marshwood Health Care Facility, where she had been a resident since October 1998.

She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, on Nov. 1, 1916, the daughter Georges and Bernadette Jacques Poisson. Upon moving to Lewiston, she attended St. Mary’s School. She was a homemaker and worked a few years at Bates Mill and for the Dominican Fathers.

She was a member of Holy Cross Parish, Holy Cross Senior Citizens and Cercle d’Youville. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife who enjoyed baking, crocheting, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include one daughter, Louise Goyette, and her husband, Roger, of Lewiston; two sons, Leo Bolduc, and his wife, Germaine, of Sabattus and Jean Bolduc, and his companion, Charlotte Blier, of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Michael Bolduc, and his wife, Lori, of Lewiston, Paul Bolduc of Boston, Mass., Michelle Goyette Livingston, and her husband, Dan, of Longmont, Colo., Daniel Goyette, and his wife, Nicole, of Lisbon, Denise Goyette Colistra, and her husband, Nicholas, of Amsterdam, N.Y., Nicholas Bolduc, and his wife, Windy, of Auburn and Trina Bolduc, and fiance, Josh Simard, of Lewiston; four great-grandchildren, Lindsey Bolduc, Payson and Sadie Goyette and Logan Livingston; one sister, Germaine Bechard of Auburn; and four brothers, Ovide of Blue Hill, Richard of Lewiston, Gerard of Connecticut, and Mozart Poisson of North Carolina.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Paul, June 15, 2001; a son, Roger, Dec. 12, 1974; two brothers, Roland and Gilbert Poisson; and one sister, Yvette Goulette.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the excellent care given to Bernadette while she resided at Marshwood.
