Betty Mallozzi


AUBURN – Funeral services for Betty Mallozzi, wife of the Rev. Joe Mallozzi of Auburn Baptist Church were held Friday at the church. Helping Pastor Joe officiate his wife’s services were the Rev. Jack Hackworth of the Cook Road Baptist Church in Mansfield, Ohio, the Rev. Thomas G. Crichton III of Greator Rhode Island Baptist Temple, Johnston, R.I., the Rev. Mello Serrano of the Third Baptist Church Fall River, Mass and the Rev. Archie Emerson of the Ocean State Baptist Church in Smithfield, R.I. During the service church members, Daniel Tanguay sang, “Safely Home’, John Ouellette sang, “God Stopped To Pick a Rose,” and Coleen Tanguay sang, “In the Garden.” Pastor Mallozzi then shared words of remembrance of his wife, Betty, and introduced a video tribute that was played honoring his wife’s life. Pallbearers were Joseph Mallozzi Jr., Anthony Mallozzi, Bruce Luong, Shaun Beane, Rodney Small and Carl Dill. Following the service, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at the family center of Auburn Baptist Church. Burial with graveside committal prayers will be held at a later date in the Spring.
