PARIS — The Kiwanis Club of Norway-Paris will hold its annual bicycle rodeo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 21 in the parking lot of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
The event features free helmets for elementary-school-age children. The helmets are fitted to each child’s head. There will also be a free bicycle inspection with repairs made if possible and a rodeo course staffed by the Paris Police Department. Each child that receives a helmet will automatically be entered into the drawing for a new bicycle donated by Hannafords.
Each year the local Kiwanis Club gives out between 150 and 200 helmets.
The rodeo is held in conjunction with May Day Play Day sponsored by the Oxford Hills Rotary Club.
