Glaxo to pay tab of $3.4B
PHILADELPHIA - In the biggest tax settlement in U.S. history, drug giant GlaxoSmithKline PLC has agreed to pay $3.4 billion to the federal government in a case with tax implications for other multinational corporations.

Nicotine study disputed
BOSTON (AP) - The nation's largest cigarette maker is disputing a study by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health that found nicotine in cigarettes has risen about 10 percent in the past six years.
