The Nordic and alpine ski teams will collect bottles and donations door-to-door. Money raised will provide equipment and pay for training for skiers from both teams. Leavitt skiers have been past state and conference champions through the years and they have gone on to participate in college athletics.

The drive is sponsored by the nonprofit Leavitt Ski Boosters, which has supported Leavitt skiing for more than 50 years.
