Bowlers receive awards


LIVERMORE – The Wednesday Night Ladies Bowling League of Wilton recently held an awards banquet at the Carriage House Cafe. Serving on the banquet committee were Wanda Young and Lisa Beardsley and on the trophy committee were Sharon Jacques and Lois Barker.

Awards were given as follows:

First-place team: Pinheads, Monty Tyler, Sue DeRusha, Bev Lewis and Patty Donald; second, Bowling Belles; third, Gutter Cleaners; fourth, On-A-Roll; fifth, Golden Oldies; and sixth, Dug Outs.

Awards for averages: first, high average, Andrea Mooar 167; second, Patty Donald, 159; third, Lynn Chellis Tyler, 157.

Team high series handicap: Pinheads.

Team high game handicap: Bowling Belles with Melanie Farmer, Jeff Nutt, Kay Seefeldt and Carol North.

Individual high series and game scratch: Andrea Mooar.

High series handicap: Jackie Tardif.

High series scratch: Lisa Beardsley.

High game handicap: Sue DeRusha.

High game scratch: Bev Lewis.

Most improved average: first, Gloria Nile, plus 12 pins; second, Wanda Young, plus 10 pins; third, Monty Tyler, plus 9 pins.

Perfect attendance: Jeff Nutt, Bev Lewis, Lisa Beardsley and Gloria Nile.
