PARIS — Matt Verrier and Cody Hadley each drove in three runs to lead Oxford Hills to an 11-5 baseball victory over Mt. Ararat on Friday.
Hadley and Kyle Farrar each hit triples for Oxford Hills (13-2), while Verrier had a double Hadley, Farrar and Nate Dubois led the offense with two hits each.
Erik Henderson pitched the first six innings for the victory, striking out seven batters.
Tim Bickford had two hits, including a triple for the Eagles (8-7).
Lewiston 13, Morse 3
LEWISTON — Luke Cote had three hits and Trey Ouellette ripped a three-run double in the first inning to send Lewiston to a 13-3 triumph over Morse in a KVAC baseball game Friday.
Lewiston scored in every inning except the second in the six-inning contest. Trey Ouellette and Scott Ouellette chipped in with two hits apiece.
Corbin Hyde struck out nine batters in five innings for Lewiston (10-5).
Telstar 3, Mt. Abram 2
SALEM — T.J. O’Connor singled in the eventual game-winning run in the top of the seventh as Telstar edged Mt. Abram 3-2 in MVC baseball.
The Rebels (9-5) trailed 2-0 after the first inning. Danny Whitney tripled ahead of O’Connor’s RBI single in the seventh.
Damien Daggett had the Roadrunners’ (9-5) only extra base hit with a double. Josh Beedy singled in a run in the first inning, while the second run was the result of a throwing error on the same play.
Lisbon 5, Boothbay 2
BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Chris Whitney collected three RBIs on a home run and a double to lift Lisbon to a 5-2 victory over Boothbay.
Whtiney’s home run came in the third inning to put the Greyhounds (13-3) up 1-0. He roped a two-run triple in the four-run fourth inning for Lisbon.
Tim Norwood had a pair of singles and an RBI for the Seahawks (2-13).
Pitcher Alex Hall remained undefeated with his sixth win of the season for Lisbon, recording 14 strike outs and giving up only two walks and four hits.
Livermore Falls 9, Jay 4
JAY — Jay was holding on to a 4-1 lead through four innings when Livermore Falls erupted with eight runs in the fifth and sixth innings to shake off the Tigers, 9-4.
The Andies (12-4) hammered out 12 hits and belted the ball out of the park twice.
In the three-run sixth inning, Livermore Falls Willie Brown connected with a two-run homer and teammate Chandler White followed with a solo home-run shot.
For the Tigers (6-9), Jacob Loard double and had a single. Livermore Falls’ tom Ventrella had a lead-off triple.
Jame McLamb came in relief in the third inning and got the win on the mound for the Andies.
Georges Valley 6, Winthrop 4
THOMASTON — Brandon Knight clubbed a double and a home run to lead Georges Valley to a 6-4 victory over Winthrop in MVC baseball.
Ben Wallace produced a pair of RBIs for the Buccaneers (7-7) in a three-run fourth inning that put them up 6-2 at the time. Bryant Matthews struck out six and walked only one to earn the mound victory for Georges Valley.
Tyler Arsenault had a single and a double for the Ramblers (3-11), while Easton Morang doubled in the only RBI out of four Winthrop runs in the losing effort.
Mt. Blue 4
SKOWHEGAN — Left fielder Mike Saucier smashed a two-run home run and collected six RBIs to power Skowhegan to a 13-4 triumph over Mt. Blue in KVAC baseball action Friday.
The Cougars (3-11) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning on five hits, half of their game total. Dylan Vining had two hits, including a double, while Alec Wallace added two hits and Shane Smith roped a triple for Mt. Blue.
The Indians (4-11) were able to string together a series of miscues by Mt. Blue in a nine-run third inning. Mt. Blue pitching gave up seven hits and three walks.
Saucier collected three hits, a single, double and home run for the Indians. Alec Hayden earned the complete game win on the mound for Skowhegan.
Edward Little 2
AUBURN — In the season finale of cross-town rivals, Lewiston jumped all over Edward Little with a 12-2 victory to earn a spot in the playoffs.
Sam Cloutier notched a hat trick for the Blue Devils (6-6), while Elliot Chicoine, Cody Dussault and Curtis Robinson scored two goals each.
Midfielder Tim Brodsky opened the scoring 45 seconds into the contest and gave the Red Eddies (7-5) their only lead of the game, 1-0.
Goalie Jesse Leeman made eight saves for Lewiston, while Ryan Landry finished out the game with one recorded save for the Blue Devils.
Goalie Jeremy Moniz turned back eight shots for Edward Little.
