Breakfast to benefit local Habitat home

AUBURN – A breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday, May 7, will benefit Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity. It will be held at St. Philip’s Church, Turner Street.

The church will present its annual breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, traditional crepes, wheat-free crepes, fruit cup, juice, home-baked breads, muffins, coffee and tea.

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12, with a cap of $20 for families.

All proceeds will help build a house for a local family in need, except for a 10-percent contribution that will be sent to Habitat for Humanity International to help build houses in areas too poor to raise their own funds.

Habitat for Humanity house pins, $12 each, will be available for sale at the breakfast.
