LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce Breakfast program May 12 will feature a panel of local employers discussing Workplace Health and Wellness.
The panelists will describe how their companies have promoted health in the workplace by implementing Healthy Androscoggin’s Work Healthy principles and working collaboratively with Healthy Androscoggin’s staff.
The breakfast will be held at 7:15 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch at 14 Great Falls Plaza in Auburn. The event is sponsored by Downeast Energy and Fox Ridge Golf Club.
Healthy Androscoggin was created in 1995 as Tobacco Free L-A, a grassroots group of community members and organizations working to reduce tobacco use in the greater Lewiston-Auburn area. Since then, it has grown to include nearly 300 coalition members and more than 2,300 subscribers, and has broadened its focus to include exercising, eating well and youth substance use.
