Brenda L. Stevens


LEWISTON – Brenda L. Stevens, 45, of 143 Main St., Greene, died Friday evening, April 28, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with her family at her side.

She was born in Caribou on Oct. 2, 1960, a daughter of Erval and Rena (Francoeur) Goodine. She was educated in Caribou schools and lived for a time in South Berwick before moving to Greene seven years ago.

Brenda was employed as a school teacher for SAD 52, and was currently a student herself at Andover College, working toward a degree in the medical field.

She enjoyed special family times, as well as cooking, gardening and shopping. She was an avid NASCAR fan.

She leaves her husband of seven years, Todd Stevens, of Greene; a daughter, Jennifer Turnbull and her fiance, Matthew Houde, of South Royalton, Vt.; a son, Christopher Turnbull of Greene; a stepdaughter, Susan Stevens of Biddeford; her mother, Rena Gagnon, of Rochester, N.H.; her grandmother, Mary Goodine of Caribou; and a sister, Michelle Bissonnette, her husband, Travis, and their children, Dustin and Colin, of Rochester, N.H.

She was predeceased by her father; and by her first husband, Paul J. Turnbull, in March 1999.
