Brenda Lee Hill


LEWISTON – Brenda Lee Hill, 56, of 102 Campus Ave., Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, at d’Youville Pavilion, surrounded by her family, after a long illness. She was called home to God’s loving care.

She was born in Gardiner on April 7, 1950, the daughter of Laurier J. and Maxine (Poulin) Morrissette and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was a homemaker and a dedicated mother and grandmother all of her life. She lived a spirited life. She loved music, dancing, singing and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her mother of Lewiston; two sons, Walter E. Hill Jr. and his wife, Lucie, of Lewiston and Laurier J. Doyon of Lewiston; one granddaughter, Ashley Hill; one grandson, Jacob Doyon; five brothers, Wilfred Morrissette of Lewiston, Joseph Morrissette and his wife, Diane, of Auburn, Archie Morrissette and his wife, Tina, of Lisbon, Gerald Morrissette of Auburn and Laurier Morrissette of Auburn; three sisters, Sonja Hodgkins and her husband, Robert, of Naples, Gloria Robinson and her husband, Michael, of Greenville and Pearl Benner and her husband, Gene, of Auburn; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her father; her husband, Walter E. Hill Sr.; one brother, Raymond Morrissette; and one sister, Betsy Wood.
