Bridgton Academy commencement held

BRIDGTON – The 198th commencement at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton was held May 13 in the Bridgton Ice Arena. More than 800 parents and friends were present as Headmaster David N. Hursty presented awards to the graduating class. The diplomas were conferred by Board of Trustees President Robert L. Teel Jr., 65.

Andrew Costantino of Abington, Mass., delivered the invocation and Alex Saylor of Windsor, Conn., the benediction. Valedictorian was Christopher John O’Keefe of Upper Arlington, Ohio, who will attend the U.S. Naval Academy. Selected by the faculty as class speaker was Mark Phillip Rodovick of Stamford, Vt., who will attend Ithaca College.
