FARMINGTON – Summer worship at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church begins at 9:30 a.m. and includes a children’s story. All are welcome to the Sunday, July 29, service.
Children are learning about prayer at the church this week. The Vacation Bible School has a hot air balloon theme and is based on Psalms.
The children are hoping to raise $250 to purchase a water buffalo through Heifer Project International. A water buffalo will help a family in Asia to “lift off” out of poverty, because a water buffalo can help plow rice paddies, give birth to a calf and provide the family with milk to drink and sell.
Anyone who would like to help with the project should stop by the church with a contribution.
All are welcome to the closing celebration at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 27. Henderson Memorial is located on the corner of Main and Academy streets. For more information, call 778-2163.
RANGELEY – The Wilhelm Reich Museum will hold an auction at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Conference Center on Dodge Pond Road.

If anyone who has items to donate should call 864-3443. Items will be available for viewing at 9 a.m.
