NORWAY – Revival part two will be held at the Norway Church of the Nazarene. Revivalists Chuck and Lisa Lacombe will talk at 6 p.m. Thursday through Friday, July 19 to 21, and 11 a.m. Sunday, July 22, at 10 Grove St.
NORWAY – Norway Legion will hold a benefit bingo Sunday, July 22, at 212 Main St. Doors will open at noon and bingo will begin at 1:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for children of military personnel on active duty that have lost their lives on or after Sept. 11, 2001. There will be pull tabs, 50/50 and refreshments available.
LOVELL – The eighth annual Lovell Antiques Show and Sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at the Lovell Historical Society/Kimball Stanford House, Route 5. Admission is $3; early buyer’s admission is $5 from 7 to 8:30 a.m. There will be free verbal antique appraisals on site, limit two a customer; raffle for prize antiques, grilled food and beverages. NORTH WATERFORD – A public supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at the North Waterford Congregational Church, Five Kezars Road. The menu will include baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverages and strawberry shortcake. The cost for adults is $7; children under 12, $3.50.
Regular Sunday worship services are being held at 10 a.m. at the North Waterford Congregational Church during July. Bible study is at 9:15 a.m. Sundays before the regular worship service.
LOCKE MILLS – The Greenwood Historical Society will hold its annual potluck supper at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the historical building on Main Street. Those attending are asked to take a dish to share and dish and utensils to eat with.
GREENWOOD – The Community Lakes Association will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, Aug. 4, at the town hall, next to the post office on Route 26. Coffee will be served at 8:30 a.m. followed by the meeting at 9.
WEST PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will hold its annual yard sale and bake sale from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4. Good used items are needed for resale, but no large appliances or computer ware.
Proceeds will be used to keep the society going and to do repairs inside and outside the building.
