RUMFORD – The Rumford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, in the Municipal Building, Congress Street. The speaker will be Len Greaney, who will tell of his experiences in developing the Memorial to Veterans Buried in Distant Places. The site chosen overlooks the Androscoggin River at the head of Congress Street and was dedicated on Veterans Day in 2006.
Club to meet
MEXICO – The Mexico Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, downstairs at the Mexico Town Hall. All are welcome. Lean On Me group
RUMFORD – Lean On Me, a support group for cancer patients and their families, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the Rumford Hospital library.
