Society supper

WEST PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will have a baked bean and casserole supper at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, the beginning of the Old Home Days weekend. There will also be homemade pies and dessert. Elaine Emery will play oldies on the piano during dinner. Cost for adults is $6, and $3 for children under 12. Tag, bake sale

NORWAY – A huge tag and bake sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, at Town and Country Mobile Home Village Recreation Hall. For more information, call Myrtle at 743-0555.

Alumni banquet

WEST PARIS – West Paris Alumni Association will hold its banquet on Saturday, June 3, at the Agnes L. Gray School gym. Line-up will be at 5 p.m., followed by a meeting at 5:30 and the banquet at 6.

Cooking workshop

BETHEL – Cathi DiCocco, owner of Cafe DiCocoa and DiCocca’s Marketplace, will present a workshop, “Light and Healthy Summer Cooking,” from 4 to 6 p.m.on Thursday, June 1, at the Cafe DiCocoa Restaurant, Main Street.

The program is part of Western Mountain Senior College’s To Your Health Series and a follow-up to last fall’s Aging Well Conference.

The public is invited to the workshop, sponsored by WMSC and SAD 44 Adult Education. It is free to college members; a small donation will be accepted from others at the door. For more information, contact Wendy at 824-8610.

Auto show set

WEST PARIS – Old Home Days Auto Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, at Agnes Gray School. Rain date will be Sunday, June 11. Three trophies will be given in each class and one People’s Choice trophy will be awarded. Fee to enter is $5, and public admission is free. All car entry fees will benefit West Paris Old Home Days. There will be hot dogs and drinks for sale and a 50/50 raffle. For more information, contact Kevin Waterhouse at 674-2973.
