Worship service

SOUTH PARIS — All are welcome to Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, on Sunday, March 7, the third Sunday in Lent. “Making the Old Story Our Story” will begin at 9 a.m. and Sunday School will begin at 9:15 a.m. Worship service will be at 10:15 a.m. followed by coffee, refreshments and fellowship.

Rifle course

FRYEBURG — Fryeburg Fish and Game will hold a NRA Basic Rifle Course on Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28. The class will start at 1 p.m. and the total class time is 14 hours. The class is limited to 20 students.

Students will learn the basic fundamentals of safe rifle handling and more. The course does not count toward Maine hunter safety certification. Preregistration is required. The course cost is $50. Call 647-9486 after 6 p.m. for more information.

Library program

BRYANT POND — Lesley Rowse and Gary Inman will present a forestry and wildlife program at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at the Whitman Memorial Library. The program will include information and pictures about their work in the Forestry Service. It is open to the public at no charge. Light refreshments will be served.

After school program

PARIS — The Paris Public Library will offer after-school stories and crafts at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 9. There will be a St. Patrick’s Day story and craft.
