LEWISTON — The Prince of Peace Parish Rosary Sodality will hold recitation of the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Holy Cross Seniors Hall. The speaker will be Fr. Nathan March and a business meeting will follow. Refreshments will be served.
LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 2 were as follows: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second, Claire Lyons and Marta Clements; third/fourth tie, Helen Little and Alberta Turner with Carlene and Bill Hewett.
Winners at Schooner Estates on March 3 were: first, Les Buzzell and John Hackett; second, Paul Sherman and Mike True; third/fourth tie, Mary Leahey and Rosemarie Goodwin with Sherry Hinckley and David Lock.

AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St. Lynn Lockwood, director of the Auburn Public Library, will speak about “Creating the 21st Century Library.” Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome.
GREENE — A meeting for those interested in participating in a farmers’ market is being planned. Gardeners, crafters, growers, vendors of regional crops and other items are welcome and needed to participate and give presentations at monthly meetings. A meeting site will be annoucned as soon as six to 12 people reply.
