OXFORD — The Rock-O-Dundee Riders Snowmobile Club of Oxford will meet Tuesday, March 9, at its clubhouse, Paine Road. Preceding the meeting, Jerry and Judy Major will serve a spaghetti supper for members, their families and any prospective members and their families. RUMFORD — A fundraiser for “New Breath 4 Steph” will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at Mountain Valley High School. The professional riders of the Maximum Velocity Stunt Team will perform a 90-minute show. Proceeds will benefit the National Transplant Assistance Fund lung transplant fund for Stephanie Briggs.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 5 to 18 and free for ages 4 and under. Tickets are available at at Carlisle’s and Mountain Valley High School.

RUMFORD — Rumford Community Home, JF Kennedy Lane, will host a Have a Heart Lunch and Learn at noon Wednesday, March 10. Dan Elliot, RN, cardiac specialist from Rumford Hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Program, will discuss heart health and building a strong heart.

MECHANIC FALLS — The Waterford World’s Fair will serve a public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Congregation Hall, Elm Street.

RANGELEY — A soup supper to benefit Haiti will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 14, in the undercroft at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main Street. All monies raised will be used exclusively to support relief efforts for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

SOUTH PARIS — The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club will have a mainstream/plus level square dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street. John Thompson, who recently retired from being the club caller after about 10 years, will call the square dancing. Bernie Porter will cue the round dancing.
The hall will be decorated in green with shamrocks. Admission is $6 each person. There will be door prizes, 50/50 and refreshments at intermission. Nondancers are welcome to come at no charge.
