Revival service

MECHANIC FALLS — Revival services will be held at the Mechanic Falls Church of the Nazarene, 5 Oak St., from Friday to Tuesday, March 19 to 23, with the Rev. Charles and Lisa Lacombe. Open house

LEWISTON — Central Maine Christian Academy, 390 Main St. will host an open house and science fair from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17. The school offers full-day preschool and kindergarten; a State approved elementary program, kindergarten through grade 8; a high school program with small classes; full-time daycare, ages 2 and up; after-school daycare; and a four-day week.

Preschool program

MONMOUTH — The Henry L. Cottrell School, in collaboration with Southern Kennebec Child Development Corp. Headstart, will provide a 4-year-old program during the morning in the fall for children who meet established criteria, and a preschool program in the afternoon.

Children must be 4-years-old or before Oct. 15, 2010. Registration will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 9. A copy of the child’s original birth certificate, Social Security card and health record including immunization dates will be needed. For an appointment, call the school at 933-4426.

Kindergarten registration

TURNER — Turner Primary School will hold an informational meeting regarding kindergarten registration and screening from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at the school. The meeting is for parents only.

A child must be five years old on or before Oct. 15, 2010 to register for kindergarten. An original birth certificate and immunization records will be required at registration.

Bridge play

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 9 were as follows: first, Carlene and Bill Hewett; second/third tie, Mary Leahey and Rosemarie Goodwin with Patricia Garcia and David Lock; fourth, Sherry Hinckley and Luke Merry.

Winners at Schooner Estates on March 10 were: first, Jean and Phil Bird; second/third tie, Sherry Hinckley and David Wallace with Les Buzzell and John Hackett.
