NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met March 12, in the Fare Share Building, Main Street. A two-and-a-half table Howell movement was played.
Finishing first were Pete Cummings and Dick Allen; second, Priscilla Rooth and Hazel Glazier tied with Carol Curran and Denny Raymond. The next game will be played at 9:15 a.m. Friday, March 19. All bridge players are invited and a partner is guaranteed.

PARIS — The New and Old Classics Book Club at the Paris Public Library will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, in the young adult room of the library. The intent of the book club is to explore books commonly considered “new and old classics” through discussion.
The group will vote each month on the next book. At the March 24 meeting, members will discuss “Woman on the Edge of Time” by Marge Piercy and receive the next book, “O Pioneers!” by Willa Cather. If interested in joining, contact the library at 743-6994.
NORWAY — The final registration for baseball, softball and tee-ball will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at the Norway Town Office. The registration is for Norway residents only. The deadline for baseball registration is March 18; deadline for softball and tee-ball, March 31.

WATERFORD — The Waterford Library Bridge Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 22. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month. No partner is necessary. Beginning and experienced players are welcome. It is an informal group where participants may learn from each other.
