Easter bunny

LEWISTON — The Easter bunny will visit Community Credit Union, 144 Pine St., for holiday pictures. Children and their families are invited to have their picture taken from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 20.

All children will be able to decorate their own picture frame, have cookies and get a chance at an Easter basket full of goodies. There is no cost for the pictures, but donations are welcome to benefit the Androscoggin Humane Society.

Make baby food

LEWISTON — Lewiston Adult Education and The St. Mary’s Nutrition Center will offer a “Make Your Own Baby Food” class from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center of Maine, 208 Bates St.

Diane Dillon, a mother of three, will lead the class. She will discuss the benefit of feeding babies fresh and local produce. There will be a discussion, a demonstration and a hands-on opportunity to make baby food to take home and freeze for future use.

The cost for the class is $16 each person. To register, call Lewiston Adult Education at 795-4141.

Teen Sunday school

AUBURN — Marston’s Corner Baptist Church will offer a new teen Sunday School class, “Boosting Your Self-Esteem,” to help teens develop a positive self-image. The class will meet at 10 a.m. Sundays, March 21, 28, April 11 and 18

Jericho Place, for children in kindergarten to grade six, meets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays. The church is located at the corner of Beech Hill and Hotel roads. For more information, contact Marti Chabot at 784-3003.

Garden club

AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union Garden Club will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St. The speaker will be Mark Eustis, a local arborist. He will present a photographic “Journey through the English Countryside,” from a trip to England.

Hospitality will be provided by his wife, Janet Eustis. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome to attend.

Cribbage results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 11 were: first, Steve Agurkis and Dick Dennis; second, Bert Belanger and John Violette; third, Muriel Webber and Monique Nadeau; fourth, Anita Cusson and Roger Patry; fifth, Pat Records and Sandi Smith.

The next game will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 18.
